Glaswegian rising talent Dylan John Thomas has not been short of big career-altering
moments in the last 6 months alone.
Live highlights include a Stereophonics arena support, plus special guest appearances on Sam Fender, Courteeners and Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds’ shows; a sold out gig at Glasgow’s legendary Barrowland Ballroom; and a packed out Glastonbury debut on the Leftfield stage, followed by a return to TRNSMT on the main stage in front of over 20k bouncing fans. His anticipated 10 date UK headline tour including 2 Glasgow Barrowlands is now nearly sold out.
Dylan’s first single from EP2, ‘Fever’, released in April, was the catalyst for this success which saw the singer-songwriter reach mass audiences across the UK and Ireland (over half a million streams). He has since released the unflinchingly honest, ‘If I Didn’t Laugh’ (130k streams) which looks back at the summers of his childhood with unstoppably uplifting flair.
Continuing his streak, Dylan delivers with brand new track ‘What a Shame’, showcasing his impressive songwriting abilities whilst boasting another contagiously catchy chorus.
‘What a Shame’ features on ‘Dylan John Thomas - EP2’, alongside the previously released, ‘If I Didn’t Laugh’ and ‘Fever’, as well as brand new tracks, ‘Now and Then’ and the opening instrumental, ‘Battle of Alesia’. The EP will be released on 4th November on
digital/streaming and on limited edition 12” transparent vinyl.
