Honey Machine were a Nigerian boogie/funk outfit who released one self-titled album in 1982. The band featured keyboard player Nkono Teles, keeping things funky on clavinet and electric piano, and drummer Jojo Kuo, who has played with such luminaries as Manu Dibango and Fela Kuti. Shades of Michael Jackson’s ‘Off The Wall’ and Earth, Wind and Fire in these grooves.
