Sleeping Dogs were one of two American bands on Crass Records, the independent imprint set up by the English anarchist punk collective Crass. 1982’s ‘Beware’ EP featured musical backing from Crass’s Penny Rimbaud and Phil Free, amplifying their politically savage hardcore sound.
